BMT offers steel reservoirs and standpipes for municipal and industrial potable water systems. Our water storage systems are built to American Water Works Association (AWWA) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. These tanks are built to the AWWA D-100 standard. D-100 tanks dominate the industry because of their unequaled value and pleasing appearance.
The welded steel tank shells are fabricated using full penetration automatic welding. No sheet metal is used. The minimum steel plate thickness is 3/16"standard. There are no gaskets, caulking or bolt holes, resulting in a smooth, graceful appearance. We apply a highly durable two-component interior epoxy coating to AWWA and SSPC standards. A modern exterior coating is applied which is long lasting, colorful and graffiti resistant.
